Bill's smart: he was Head Boy at Hogwarts for a reason. His mum scares him sometimes, and that's when she's being nice. "We'll be right back, Mum. I'd love a lemonade if you've got any..."

Before Molly can object, he's maneuvered Fleur out the door with him and they're walking towards the shed. He knows better than to barge right in in the midst of one of his dad's "experiments," so he knocks and waits, and flashes Fleur a grin.

His dad's voice sounds very distracted and far away. "Coming..."

There's a loud crash from inside, followed by the sounds of things being swept up rather hastily, a bump of what must be body against workbench, and finally the door opens. "Molly, I..."

Then Arthur smiles, and Bill can't really tell if it's a smile of relief or a smile of surprise. Probably a bit of both.

"Hullo, Dad. Fleur and I thought to pay you and Mum a visit. It's been a long time, innit. Been well?"

His dad just beams. "Well enough."

Bill nods back to the house. "Mum's making us lemonade. Come join us back in the kitchen?" He sneaks a peek into his dad's workshop and can't help but grin: it's a mess, but he bets if pressed, Arthur knows exactly where every last washer and screw is sitting.

Arthur nods amiably, and a huge and genuine smile splits his face. "Good to see you. Both of you."
