There are mermaids on the walls, but his mermaid is lying on the bed laughing, and he loves the sound of her laughter. He takes in the suite in all its details: a parlour with dining area, sitting area, bar, food, the largest television he's ever seen, a spa-tub... and then the bed Fleur is on and another bath beyond that.

He sits next to her; the waterbed moves up and down in waves and it makes Fleur laugh again.

"I think that stranger in the casino was right, love: you are my lucky charm." He pats the little plastic card and opens the curtains; they've a spectacular view of the strip from here, up in the direction of the Eiffel Tower he saw earlier.

"Let's get married here, in Las Vegas. Tomorrow."
